the-possession-number-one-weekend-box-office

However, that's not saying too much!

It was ROUGH out at the movie theaters this weekend!

And although there's normally a pretty big drop in the numbers as summer transitions into autumn, the only film with any real kick was once again the horror flick The Possession, which spent its second weekend in the number one spot with $9.5 million!

Not so much luck for Shia LaBeouf's Lawless-ness nor Bradley Cooper's Words, which came in at two and three with a significantly less $6 and $5 million, respectively!

In fact, according to reports, movie business was down 20% from the same time last year!

Ouch!

But hey! Look on the bright side, guys!

At least you're not Oogieloves! Ha!

It may not be breaking any records, but it's still MILES ahead of every other flick out there!

In its second weekend in theaters, The Dark Knight Rises has pulled in around $64.1 million, which means it's down 60% from its opening, and $25 million behind what its predecessor, The Dark Knight, was making this far into its run a few years back!

But if there's any consolation, it's that it's still making MILLIONS more than any other movie out there right now, including Ice Age: Continental Drift, and this week's debuts The Watch AND Step Up Revolution!

Ok, 'weak' is pushing it…

EVERY performance last night on Dancing With The Stars' semi-final episode was super spectacular, but there were two dances that just didn't JIVE with the rest of 'em.

Donal Driver and partner Peta Murgatroyd SEDUCED us with their samba, but Donald's waltz failed to wow us QUITE so much…

AND, while Katherine Jenkins STEAMED up the stage with her belly-dancin' salsa moves, poor girl unraveled at the finish!! A heart-braking ending to a sensual and stellar salsa.

Check out Donald's 'meh' waltz (above), and watch Katherine belly-flop on her finish …AFTER THE JUMP!!

We're so thankful he's back home.

A breathless George Michael spoke outside his London home on Friday after just being released from the hospital the day before.

The singer, who had been sick with pneumonia for over a month, looked a little weak as he spoke to reporters about his condition and thanked his doctors for "keeping me alive" after a "touch and go" battle.

Watch what he has to say above.

We know you're a strong guy, George. Just hang in there and keep fighting.
