Okay, there weren’t exactly tears, but there was a funeral!

Miranda Lambert debuted her shorter hair last week, and now she’s opening up about the change.

The singer said:

"I just got to where I was living with extensions in and out and it was so much drama. So I went a little bit darker and got the extensions out … and I had to get it cut a little bit when I got all the weave out. We had a funeral for my weave! She had to go to the trash.”

Hopefully in a shoebox coffin or something. Ha!

Miranda said her friends love it, and we’re guessing hubby Blake Shelton does too, so she’s keeping it!

No more bald spots! Hallelujah!

Yesterday, we showed you a SHOCKING pic of Naomi Campbell's exposed bald patches as she was vacationing in Ibiza with her boyfriend a couple days ago.

Thankfully, girlfriend got her weave under control to attend the Fashion for Relief party in London last night where she was sporting a long, sleek, and beautiful mane.

Photographer Mike Ruiz had another photo shoot with Kelly Rowland and her long Rapunzel-like wig.

The photos are nice, but they kinda reminds us of GaGa's V shoot. A lot, actually.

At Tuesday's Alexander McQueen show in Paris, the models were rockin' some serious weaves — basket weaves that is.

The stylist behind the literal hairstyles is Guido Palau, who says the pagan themed 'dos "were highly technical yet very simple".

Here's how you can replicate that look:

Palau divided models’ hair into three sections before adding extensions over and under natural strands for a woven effect, ending each panel in a skinny braid. Back panels were folded flat against the head and pinned in place before the entire head was sprayed with Redken’s Forceful 23 hair spray—and lots of it

Sounds like a lot of work, but the end result is pretty cool.

So this is why her hair is always a hot mess!

Britney Spears isn't allowed to go to the same hairstylist because her management doesn't want her getting too close to anyone.

A source reveals:

"They won't use anyone who has done her hair in the past and won't let any current stylist see her more then three times."

That's a little intense, no?

Her Circus tour hairstylist George Papanikolas says he hasn't seen BritBrit since. Stylists Rick Henry, Kim Vo, Roberta Romero and Chris McMillan haven't touched her weave since leaving the salon either.

Maybe the girl could use a little repetition in her life, or at least her hair!
