Don't buy any fitness equipment you see in an infomercial on tv. The fitness models didn't get where they are by using that piece of equipment. If it was so good, it wouldn't need a commercial. When was the last time you saw a commercial for dumbbells? The shakeweight doesn't count.

How many of you actually look at the nutrition labels on the foods you eat? Probably not many. And because we don’t, we are unaware of how much and exactly what it is we are eating. The purpose here is to make you more aware of what’s in your favorite food items and ultimately make smarter food choices.
While it isn’t necessary to count calories, you should be conscious about food labels so you know how much you are actually eating. It’s usually more than we think, so if you find half the box empty, you might need to do a little math to see what the reality is.
Here's an easy to read guide I've made to help you guys become nutrition label pros:

The Foundation for AIDS Research doesn't just honor anybody, they honor those who truly deserve it through their amazing support and work for the cause.
And that's exactly why Janet Jackson is being honored on February 6th:
She isn't the only celeb being honored, either!
According to amFAR's report on the upcoming gala, we're going to be seeing Kenneth Cole AND Heidi Klum honored as well! The whole thing is a black-tie gala benefit to honor individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the fight against AIDS — and will be held on the eve of New York Fashion Week!
If you'd like to go, or to show your support, you can head on over to amFAR's website HERE.
Such an amazing cause… and congrats to everyone being honored!

Kris Jenner is keeping it klassy for Kim Kardashian's pregnancy..
The queen of momagers was offered a hefty sum from producer David Dginguerian to document Kim Kardashian's last months of pregnancy, but turned down the proposal to the tune of $250,000!!
MyPregnancy.com, a member-only site that would post about an unborn Kimye, would make approximately $100,000 a month and that money could've gone to the charity of Kimmy's choice.
$250,000 and a measly $100,000 monthly allowance?? Pfff. Kim and Kanye West just turned down $3 million photo deal and bought an $11 million dollar mansion…we're pretty sure the baby's first onesie will be worth more than $250,000!!
Keep dreamin' David!

People are livid and cracking down on everything "thinspo" or pro-eating disorder on the web right now, which we think it a fab thing to crack down on.
The problem is, new social media seems to pop up regularly, spreading the watchdogs thin and making it harder and harder to keep awful movements like this in check. Like, Instagram for instance.
Instagram has already taken steps to monitor hashtags and images that celebrate disordered eating and emaciated bodies, such as #thinspo and #anorexia, but it isn't enough. It's way too easy to be harmful.
Here's what one non-profit watch group said:

Static stretching, where you continuously hold the stretch, is best done after your workout. It inhibits muscle activity and returns muscle fibers to their pre-workout, resting length. Hold each stretch for 30 seconds and you can eliminate some of that next day soreness.
