No, but he'd be up for it!

Apparently thousands of Weird Al fans have started an online movement to get the satirical singer on the Super Bowl halftime show stage in 2013.

When sources caught up with Al to ask about the demand, he seemed a little skeptical the NFL would actually consider him as a performer, saying:

Weird Al Yankovic, perhaps one of the world's most famous musical parody makers, is back with his brand new album Alpocalypse.

Check out one of the tracks above, Polka Face, which takes a string of pop hits — beginning with Lady GaGa's Poker Face — and polkafies the shiz out of them! LOLz!

He manages to give 14 hit songs from GaGa, Britney Spears, Flo Rida, Kid Cudi, Lady Antebellum, Justin Bieber, Pink, Katy Perry, Owl City, Jamie Foxx, Iyaz, Jay Sean, Taio Cruz, and Ke$ha the polka treatment, leaving us with ONE question.

Why can't all polka sound this good? Ha!

Earlier we showed you Weird Al's parody of Born This Way, Perform This Way, which he claimed had been rejected by the GaGa camp for release on his new album.

You can see the video Al released above, with reason explaining text at the beginning of it.

Now, on the flip side, the GaGa crew is saying that she did NOT reject the song, and that she's been so busy that she hasn't even heard it yet!

According to the source:

"There must of been a misunderstanding because [Gaga] is in no way trying to block the release of the parody. She's busy touring and hasn't heard the song yet. Her manager hasn't had a chance to play it for her yet" — adding, "She's a huge Weird Al fan."

That's a relief! Who WOULDN'T be a huge Weird Al fan?? The guy is a legend!

Weird Al Yankovic has nine songs ready on his next album and has just three more to go — but apparently with the rise of YouTube it's getting harder for Al to get his shiz together!.

He explains:

"Because of portals like that, I will never again be the only or the first person to parody any given pop song. By the time I'm in the studio recording my parody, 10,000 parodies of that song are on YouTube. It makes it harder to be fresh and unique. It's frustrating, but it does help me step up my game. If I can't be the first and only, I can be the best."

He might be parodying Lady GaGa, too but he said "I don't want to give anything away."

Weird Al has also written a children's book When I Grow Up that's due out in March! He says: "It needs to pass through committees and everything. But I enjoyed doing that, and I'll probably be doing more down the line."
