Don't these people have anything better to do??

Although homophobes attempted to picket the Golden Globes last night, as part of a protest against homosexuality, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association made sure that those boycotting the ceremony didn't get anywhere near the actual event!

Annette Bening, who portrayed a lesbian parent in The Kids Are All Right, was particularly affected by the protests, and revealed:

"That made me very sad. They may have had (The Kids Are All Right in mind). I think that gives us all the more reason to go to the Golden Globes, and for the HFPA to see beyond that, (not) caught up behind the narrow mindedness."

Such true words!

If those people can sleep at night protesting the funeral of a nine year old girl, let alone an award show that MAY honor a few homosexuals, then they clearly have a lot more to worry about than us!

Why even waste time getting caught up in that nonsense?!

He has every right to be. We would surely be ashamed to be associated in any way with such homophobes!

Ozzy Osbourne released a stern and scathing statement this morning after he learned the Westboro Baptist Church, notorious for their hatred of gay Americans and soldiers, used one of his songs to prove a point about their cause.

On Wednesday, a group of the church's devoted followers performed Ozzy's song Crazy Train on the steps of the United States Supreme Court. The group was protesting the court's ruling to have them pay a father of a fallen solider $5 million after the group bombarded the funeral with their messages of hate.

Ozzy explains that he is "disgusted" that these people are using his music to help spread their ignorance and in his statement, he adds:

"I am sickened and disgusted by the use of 'Crazy Train' to promote messages of hate and evil by a 'church.'"

Well said. What God would want his people to be so narrow-minded and heartless???

These people are insane!

The horrible Westboro church will be picketing the Justin Bieber concert tonight in Kansas City "to remind all of those in attendance that America's destruction is imminent."

Their website reads:

"There are no jobs, homes, money or hope, but you'll pay big bucks to attend rock concerts by the thousands. [Bieber] has a platform given to him by God to speak to this world; he has a duty to teach obedience by his actions and words. He refuses to do that because he knows his concert halls would be empty! So, he teaches you to sin and rebel against God's commandments."

Ridiculous!

They also go after Justin for performing at the White House for the President last Christmas where "he got to pose with Anti-Christ Beast Obama." They add:

"He and Obama are of one mind and they are leading this nation to hell! Justin will answer to God!"

UGH!

There are truly no words for this.

As if poor Constance McMillen hasn't been through enough with the deplorable and disgusting discrimination she's faced regarding her school prom, the Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church announced that it plans on picketing her graduation!

The press release says:

“[We] will picket the graduation of Itawamba Agricultural High School to remind the parents, teachers and students of this nation that God said 'Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind, it is abomination.' This generation has been raised to believe that they can live for the devil and still go to heaven, that God has no standards and the biggest lie of all – that God loves everyone.”

It truly saddens us to think that there are people in this world who could be capable of this kind of hatred and believe that is all in the name of a higher power.

Stay strong, Constance! You've already come this far!
