This is certainly bound to stir up some controversy.
A new Texas-based non-profit, Former Majority Association for Equality, will offer scholarships for Caucasian males. The group claims there are many scholarships for women, minorities, and certain religious groups, but not enough for white men.
Here's what association founder Colby Bohannan had to say about it:
"We know that we're going to be receiving some vicious attacks, from people claiming that we are racists, or promoting some bigotry-filled agenda."
"Our aim is actually just to help students. We are not trying to jump on any political agenda or bandwagon."
"We're not looking for blond-haired, blue-eyed, stereotypical white males. My feeling is that if you can say you're 25 percent Caucasian, you're Caucasian enough for us."
We certainly think everyone should have the opportunity to apply for scholarships, including white men, but we can definitely see how this might not sit well with people.
