Following Gwyneth Paltrow's recent appearance on ancestry show Who Do You Think You Are?, she's decided to raise her children as Jewish.

Holy shiz! This is pretty crazy!

On the series, Who Do You Think You Are?, celebrities have the opportunity to look into their family's history and learn about their previously unknown ancestors, which is exactly what Gwyneth Paltrow was doing when she uncovered that her great-great-great-grandfather was a "master of Kabbalah!"

During the program, which airs April 1st, the actress, who already studies the ancient Jewish mysticism, learned from documents that the man was "a miracle worker" who apparently saved his community from being destroyed by a fire!

And, as to be expected, Gwyneth reponded to the revelation by claiming:

"This is all kinda blowing my mind."

We don't blame her! To grow up and not only discover a faith, but then practice it - only to uncover that an old relative of yours was a master of it?

Insane! Make you kind of wonder if there's a reason things happen, you know?

PS - We bet her ex bestie Madonna will be VERY innerested to learn about this!
