Rihanna was recently asked about her new endorsement deal with Doritos and the track Who's That Chick?, and she wants anyone who was underwhelmed with it to know that it's just a bonus track on her new album Loud - because it's just too generic!
Entertainment Weekly: The track is a lot of fun. But it does seem like there are a lot of songs out these days that are just about being in a club. Were you hesitant to do one now?
Rihanna: Yeah, I know. And that’s why it’s a bonus track and not on Loud. It’s a great song but it’s safe. It’s like a lot of other songs out there.
We respect that you're committed to changing up your sound and trying new, innovative things, but c'mon, bb!
If it's a good song, who cares if it's safe or not?
What do U think?? Does Rihanna make a point or is she just coming off as self-righteous??
That's because the song (above) was basically recycled by David Guetta and presented to Rihanna for her song/endorsement deal with Doritos, now known as Who's That Chick!
Considering everyone was pretty confused by the video for her new single Who's That Chick, Rihanna took to her Twitter to explain the controversy and product placement.
She Tweeted:
Who's that Chick, is an online music video/commercial that we shot for Doritos and it got leaked………
I don't want u to get confused…doritos is in no way connected to LOUD
Odd. Where was Doritos in that video??? We don't want your sponsored vids, bb.
Although Amanda Bynes' eyebrow-raising behavior finally culminated Thursday night after she was arrested for drug possession, reckless endangerment, and tampering with evidence, it seems the troubled starlet's bong-throwing antics have left many of her neighbors uncomfortable for quite some time!
In fact, despite her most recent denial of pot and alcohol use, an unnamed resident of her building is confident there could be MANY other problems at work here!
