MORE Jail For Ja Rule!

Ouch! Double whammy!

Ja Rule was sentenced today to more than two years in federal prison for failing to file more than $3 million in income tax returns for his earnings between 2004 and 2006, which is on top of the two years he's spending in state prison for attempted criminal weapon possession!

The rapper said today prior to the ruling:

Big Brother Winner Going To Jail For Four Years

Filed under: Icky Icky PooDrugsLegal MattersReality TV

Adam Jasinski, who won Big Brother and used his $500,000 prize to fund a prescription drug ring, has pled guilty to those charges - as well as failure to file a tax return in 2008 - and has been sentenced to four years in federal prison.

Such a ridiculous waste of a prize, when it could have gone to someone who needed it.

This guy deserves everything he's getting.

Wesley Snipes' Wife Comes To His Defense!

These are some pretty heavy allegations! We wonder if she's right!

Wesley Snipes has been ordered by a judge to begin serving his prison sentence, which stems from three 2008 convictions of willfully failing to file tax returns, despite efforts from the actor's attorneys to appeal the counts. However, his wife, Nikki, has now gotten involved, and is claiming that her husband has been horribly wronged by the government, and also denies that he ever actually committed a crime!

In a six page letter to family and friends, Nikki claims that Wesley has been "wronged in a way that I thought only existed in the movies," and that although her "warrior husband is still standing strong," she feels the need to reach out to friends "for the sake of our five wonderful children's future" and for "my man's integrity and dignity," which she believes to be tarnished by the media and the government.

She continues by expressing her belief that it's "more than obvious that the government has been abusing" its power, and that the legal system is making Snipes an example for "a crime he NEVER committed," and the media has played "a HUGE part in the government's propaganda to make his case appear as a tax fraud crime scheme." Snipes, she explains, is "an artist who simply needs an honest accountant."

The letter concludes:

"Please feel free to share the truth if you happen to come across misinformed people."

So, there it is. The alleged 'truth.'

What do U think?? Is Snipes at fault or was he, as his wife believes, a victim of a government and media smear campaign??

Wesley Snipes Attempts To Appeal His Jail Sentence AGAIN!

We imagine that this will go about as well as his last one!

Wesley Snipes is supposed to immediately start his jail sentence for willful failure to file income tax returns, but is once again asking a federal judge to allow him to remain free on bail while he attempts to appeal his three convictions - for the SECOND time!

The actor's lawyers argued:

"Mr. Snipes has honored the court's trust before, during trial, as well as pending sentencing and appeal. There is no reason to change the court's judgment now. His ongoing and successful projects in the movie industry further ensure he would not consider fleeing. Mr. Snipes has made several substantial payments. His tax filings are now current and he has sought from third parties and turned over to IRS all financial information the agency requested from past years."

U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges, who revoked the actor's bail last week, has ordered ordered prosecutors to respond to the actor's motion by next week.

Yeesh! What a mess!

Perhaps the second time's a charm!

…but most likely not!

Actions have consequences, bb!
