Sorry, Lifetime, but it shouldn't come as a TOTAL shocker that critics aren't feeling this one!

Last month, we got a first look at the William & Kate movie (above), which arrived right in time for royal wedding fever.

Guess the critics don't have the fever though, because they do NOT have positive things to say about this made-for-TV movie.

Here's what Britain's The Guardian had to say about it:

“So bad it’s awful, toe-curlingly, teeth-furringly, pillow-bitingly ghastly."

That same newspaper also said that the movie was “far worse than expectations, which were low to begin with.”

Obviously this was never going to be an award winner, but we're sure the movie went down nicely with that cheap merlot and tissues. Ha!

Looks just as we expect most TV movies from that network to look! LOLz!

But who are we kidding? Royal Wedding Fever means that we'll be parked on the couch come April 18th, with a bottle of cheap merlot and tissues! This is going to be more amazing than The Client List, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt!

Ha!
