Step aside, Snooki Snickers! There's a new master of the written word named Bristol Palin, and she's ready to take the literary world by storm!
That's right, the former Vice Presidential Candidate's daughter/Dancing With The Stars contestant/Secret Life of the American Teenager special guest star is adding 'published author' to her list of accomplishments, and has signed a deal with William Morrow to publish
her memoir, Not Afraid of Life, which will provide "an inside look at her life."
“Bristol gives readers an intimate behind-the-scenes look at her life for the first time, from growing up in Alaska to coming of age amid the media and political frenzy surrounding her mother’s political rise; from becoming a single mother while still a teenager to coping as her relationship with her baby’s father crumbled publicly — not once, but twice. Bristol talks about the highs and lows of her appearance on ABC-TV’s ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ including the aching hours of practice, the biting criticisms, and the thrill of getting to the show’s finals. She speaks candidly of her aspirations for the future and the deep religious faith that gives her strength and inspiration. Plainspoken and disarmingly down to earth, Bristol offers new insight and understanding of who she is and what she values most.”
Ha! We don't think we've ever heard someone's writing described positively as 'plainspoken,' but there's a first time for everything! Just like becoming famous for getting knocked up while your mom runs for Vice President!

Anyone and everyone is trying to ca$$$h in on Michael Jackson, the latest being his former personal assistant and friend Frank Cascio.
The self-proclaimed "lifelong confidante" has inked a deal with HarperCollins publisher William Morrow to write a memoir.
Cascio boasts his book, My Friend Michael, will be out this fall and promises to be an "uplifting and definitive" account of MJ.
We're kinda surprised he didn't have to sign a confidentiality agreement. Or maybe he did and is choosing to ignore it?.
