What night couldn't be a success when you get to hang with Carnie & Wendy Wilson???
A Night for Jolie was a night unlike any other, and we are SO HAPPY we got to be a part of it! Sponsored by Lupus LA & Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, the evening was filled with music and good spirits — and all for a great cause!
Jolie has been a music coordinator for over 30 years, and in 2008 Jolie was diagnosed with Lupus. She needs our help just like any other person with the devastating diagnosis! With no cure and 5 million people affected throughout the world, it's time to find a way to end this problem!
A portion of all the proceeds from the event are donated to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, too!
We're so glad to have been there! Such a wonderful and uplifting night!!

Why? Because it's REALITY GOLD! LOL!
On the latest episode of Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On, we learn why women live longer than men. According to Chynna Phillips, it's their "natural, God-given ability to cleanse internally."
While the vaginal hygienic routine is gross to some, it's a glorious display of femininity to others — or just Chynna.
As you'll see in the clip (above) from this Sunday's episode on the TV Guide Network, her bandmate's aren't exactly comfortable around the subject.

Carnie Wilson has publicly battled her weight throughout her entire career and at one point even underwent gastric bypass surgery which took 150 pounds off of her frame.
Unfortunately, the transformation didn't stick and she gained a lot of the weight back after giving birth to two daughters.
"Having children derailed me a bit. I'm just frustrated with these pounds," the Wilson Philips singer shared in a 2010 interview.
Now she's giving surgery another shot and hopes that the lap-band will not only help shed the unwanted pounds, but keep them off for good! Carnie underwent the procedure on January 18th and we're happy to report that she has since lost 30 pounds, as she explained:
"It was the right decision for me and I'm doing really well so far. It's all about taking good care of myself."
And we hope she continues to take care of herself in the future! Good luck, gurl!

Nobody wants their children to go through something that caused them so much pain and hardship throughout their own life, but singer Carnie Wilson fears her 6-year-old daughter may have inherited her addictive personality.
The Wilson Phillips singer, whose career is on the upswing thanks to a cameo in the hit comedy Bridesmaids, has publicly dealt with weight and sobriety for years. In a recent interview, she blames her addictive personality, saying:

Wanna know what Wilson Phillips has been up to??
They've been in the studio making a new album (YES!!!) and recording it all for cameras in their new reality show Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On.
Carnie Wilson talks about what the ups and downs of getting back together:
"It's not like, 'We've been friends forever; everything is great'. It's more like, 'You're in a bad mood; you're flaky,' and it's all real."
Bandmate Chynna Phillips adds:
"I'm excited and also scared for people to see it. We fight like sisters and we have our disagreements and have to battle through that like any other relationship. I think people will identify with that and I'm glad they'll will get a window into what it's really like to be in a group and to know someone for 43 years."
Watch the promo (above) to see the ups and downs these ladies have gone through. And check out their new show tonight at 9:00 pm on the TV Guide Network!
