Michael Keaton Proves He's The Funniest Man In The Room As He Wins Best Actor In A Comedy At The Critics’ Choice Awards!

It was gonna be hard to follow Michael Strahan's Maleficent costume, but Michael Keaton did just that as he won his second Critics’ Choice Movie Award of the night!

Michael had already been a part of the award for Best Acting Ensemble, but he was able to add Best Actor in a Comedy for his work in Birdman.

His speech was short, yet really funny, so we can totally see how why he won!

To claim the title as funniest man in the room, Michael beat out Jon Favreau for Chef, Ralph Fiennes for The Grand Budapest Hotel, Bill Murray for St. Vincent, Chris Rock for Top Five, and Channing Tatum for 22 Jump Street.

Congrats, Michael!

Jessica Chastain Worked Hard For The First-Ever MVP Award At The Critics' Choice Awards!

History in the making!

The Critics' Choice Movie Awards gave away their first-ever MVP Award, and they couldn't have given it to a more deserving actress.

Jessica Chastain was presented with the incredibly prestigious honor for her accomplishments in 2014.

Not only was she nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the award show, but she was actually in four critically-acclaimed movies: A Most Violent Year, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, Interstellar, and Miss Julie.

We knew she was busy, but we didn't realize she finished FOUR complete movies last year!

Glory From Selma Lands The Best Song Award At The Critics’ Choice Awards!

Beautiful!

We can't say this is too much of a surprise considering what happened at the Golden Globes!

When it came to Best Song at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, it was John Legend and Common who won for Glory in the film Selma.

They beat out Lana Del Rey for Big Eyes in Big Eyes, Jo Li and the Lonely Island for Everything Is Awesome in The Lego Movie, Keira Knightley for Lost Stars in Begin Again, and Lorde for Yellow Flicker Beat in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

We wonder if this means they have the Oscar locked in???

Patricia Arquette Wins Best Supporting Actress At The Critics’ Choice Awards!

This movie is cleaning up!

The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards had a tough job of picking a winner in the Best Supporting Actress award, and really, they couldn't go wrong!

The nominees were Patricia Arquette in Boyhood, Jessica Chastain in A Most Violent Year, Keira Knightley in The Imitation Game, Emma Stone in Birdman, Meryl Streep in Into the Woods, and Tilda Swinton in Snowpiercer.

Well, the winner of it all was Miz Arquette!

And her acceptance speech was as heartfelt as her acting!

Guardians Of The Galaxy Blasts Onto Stage To Win The Best Action Movie At The Critics’ Choice Awards!

Nothing like a lil' action!

At the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, there was plenty of action.

And the film that won the title of Best Action Movie was Guardians of the Galaxy beating out American Sniper, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Edge of Tomorrow, and Fury.

All the movies were intense, fast, and so much fun! We couldn't pick a winner, but that's the critics' job!

Emily Blunt Edges Out The Competition To Win Best Actress In An Action Movie At The Critics' Choice Awards!

So well-deserved!

For the first female acting award of the night, Emily Blunt beat out some other A-list celebs to win the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for an Actress in an Action Movie.

She really was fun to watch in the Edge of Tomorrow, but her acceptance speech might have been even better!

Emily used her time on stage to highlight how amazing it was to play a woman in an action flick who wasn't just a damsel in distress.

To win her award, she beat out Scarlett Johansson for Lucy, Jennifer Lawrence for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, Zoe Saldana for Guardians of the Galaxy, and Shailene Woodley for Divergent.

Plus, Emily even got to share a totally adorable moment with her husband John Krasinski.
