While on Good Morning America to promote her film For Colored Girls, Janet Jackson shot down rumors that she was engaged to her boyfriend Wissam Al Mana.
Janet said:
"He is a very private man so i don't talk about our relationship. But it is really important that I just say this. They (media) have been trying to marry me off for a very very long time.
No I am not engaged, I will say that. I am in a really good place."
We're glad to hear that! It was a bit early to get hitched anyway.

IN TOUCH Magazine that after almost a year of dating, Janet Jackson is engaged to businessman Wissam Al Mana!
The pair have been dating since last spring and sources are reporting that not too long ago, in "mid-October", Wissam got down on one knee and presented Janet with a 15-carat diamond ring. And because they are reportedly "soulmates", she didn't turn him down.
The pair is attempting to keep the engagement a secret, though not too long ago, Janet revealed to Access Hollywood that she was more than ready to be married again and maybe even start a family!
But one step at a time!
