Man Tries To Get $140 From An ATM & Ends Up Getting $37,000 Instead! But What Happened To His Unexpected Jackpot?!

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueGIFs

A man wanted to make a simple withdrawal of $140 from a bank ATM in Portland, Maine when he unexpectedly hit the jackpot. The machine started spewing out thousands and thousands of dollars…$37,000 to be precise! Sounds straight out of Portlandia to us!

So, the guy did what any of us would do: tell a bank attendant start stuffing all the cash into a shopping bag!

A buzzkill lady who was behind him waiting to use the ATM at 5:30 a.m. yesterday (wow, a lot of people doing some transactions in the wee hours, huh?) called the police when the guy was spending more time than usual at the machine.

When police arrived, they found

Philip Seymour Hoffman's Final Drug Deal Caught On Tape! How Shocking Evidence Could Answer Pivotal Questions & Lead Cops To His Dealer

This story just gets sadder and sadder!

A man has told authorities that he reportedly saw Philip Seymour Hoffman withdraw a large amount of cash from an ATM nearby his West Village apartment in NYC on Saturday night, the night before the acclaimed actor was found dead in his apartment after an apparent overdose.

The witness reportedly saw PSH, who looked "very sweaty," give the cash to two men with messenger bags. If this information is to be believed, the two men, who appeared to have been working together, could possibly be the dealers who supplied Philip with the lethal substances.

Authorities are on the hunt for the bank's surveillance footage, not only to track down the dealers, but to also hopefully apprehend their "product" to ensure the safety of others.

It's so sad to have lost him such a great talent.

We're all missing you so much, Philip!

Withdrawal Symptoms After Quitting Smoking

Craig Nabat

Nobody likes being sick, but a FitPerez reader is worried the symptoms may have been brought on by their recent decision to quit smoking! For helpful advice, they wrote smoking counselor Craig Nabat and asked:

Craig! Help! I've given up smoking 3 weeks ago, but now I've got a headache,a sore throat and I'm coughing up some serious flem! Is this normal?

According to Craig:

Don’t worry about any of these symptoms, your body is just detoxifying. One cigarette has over 4,000 toxic chemical in it, your body must some how get rid of these toxins either by coughing up phlegm, excretion through sweat glands, or bodily waste. The following symptoms are experienced when most people quit smoking: Headache, nausea, constipation or diarrhea, drop in blood pressure, irritability, difficulty concentrating, anxiety, depression, increased hunger and caloric intake, desire for sweets, and tobacco cravings.

If you desire these terrible withdrawal symptoms to last even longer just occasionally smoke a cigarette now and then, you’ll end up putting your body into a constant state of withdrawal by doing so…I don’t recommend you go through this route.

Nicotine withdrawal symptoms will continue until you make the definitive decision to never use nicotine again in any form. Everything you are experiencing is temporary, I promise. Continue on the path you are on, you will begin to feel better soon.

Sincerely,
Craig
