Rachel Zoe Calls It Quits — With Her Talent Agency

rachel zoe signs caa

Despite what her ratings may say, Rachel Zoe is still in high demand!

The pint sized stylist to the stars has left William Morris Endeavor and signed with rival agency CAA.

They will now manage Zoe and all of her TV ventures, which include executive producing the new show Resale Royalty, her half-hour comedy coming to NBC and of course The Rachel Zoe Project.

She's also currently working on her second book Living In Style, recently launched a blow dry bar as well as her failing clothing line.

In other words, Rachel's not going anywhere, especially now that she has new reps.

Dark Knight Director Christopher Nolan Is Suing Past And Present Agencies Over Commission!

Christopher Nolan is the LAST person in Hollywood we ever expected to get into greedy legal dramz over money.

Fortunately, the Dark Knight Rises director's image is safe because he's not suing for any money. He's just suing to be left alone!

The blockbuster filmmaker and his producer/wife, Emma Thomas, filed a lawsuit in El Lay on Thursday to ask courts to decide a monetary conflict between CAA — Nolan's former agency — and his current agency, WME.

WME wants commission from movies that were initially brought into the studio system by CAA, while the latter still says it's owed money from those movies as well.

Nolan and Thomas are willing to pay whoever is legally owed the money, but just want to get out of the conflict they are stuck in the middle of.

Geez. This is, like, the nicest lawsuit ever! LOLz!

Regis NOT Retiring, Fires Agent Of 25 Years!

Filed under: TV NewsKelly RipaBusiness Blitz

regis-philbin-fires-agent-looking-for-life-change

We're not seeing the last of him just yet!

Although Regis Philbin announced this week that he would be leaving his talk show, Live With Regis and Kelly, later this year, the 80 year old reportedly has no plans to retire, and is looking to revamp his career in a big way - starting with the decision to leave his agent of 25 years, Jim Griffin at Paradigm, and going back to his original agency, WME.

Sources close to the host reveal that he was offered a new deal for his spot on Live, but he declined, and told bosses that he wanted a 'life change.'

Maybe he's looking to have a Betty White-esque comeback!

Either way, we're glad to know that he's not dropping out of the public eye JUST YET, and we'll be curious to see where he's planning on taking his career!

Congratulations, bb!

Thoughts??

Racist, Misogynist Mel Gibson DROPPED By His Talent Agency!

wenn548y25353.jpg

GOOD!

Despicable excuse for a human being, Mel Gibson, has been dropped by the William Morris Endeavor (WME) agency, immediately after his taped tirade was released to the public.

This comes as no surprise as WME partner Ari Emanuel has expressed hostility toward Mel after the actor made anti-Semitic remarks in 2006.

Some sources say this was inevitable after his longtime agent, Ed Limato, died July 3 and Mel had already expressed interest in becoming a free agent, however, a studio executive reportedly said, "I'd rather get engaged to Lindsay Lohan than have anything to do with him."

Yikes! You know you've hit rock bottom when people would rather be associated with Lindsanity!

Here's hoping he never works in this town again!
