Awwww…so CUTEz!

They couldn't be more different and more alike!

Anzac was brought to the Wildlife Kilmore Rescue Centre in Victoria, Australia, after he was found abandoned, although he still have five months to go of living in a pouch.

There, he met his wombat buddy Peggy, a pint sized gurl who was also orphaned!

Uh oh! This is NOT good for this little wombat!: :(

Yogi, a 7.5 month old wombat, was found by an alpaca in the wilds of Australia.

Wombats normally stay in their mama's pouches until they're at least six pounds.

Yogi is two pounds…and his mom was run over by a car.

The Darraweit Guim Wildlife Shelter is currently caring for the youngster but they're hoping to find another wombat to take of the little one.

Poor thing…

And not only meet it… he was able to cuddle up against it!!!

In Australia, when someone finds an orphaned wild animal, like a baby 'roo or cutie wombat, they can take them to Healesville Sanctuary.

Wait, is this the monster from Cloverfeild?

Australian scientists have uncovered the world's biggest marsupial – a "three-ton monster" the size of a Jeep that lived up to two million years ago.

Scientist have given it the name DIPROTODON making it the badass marsupial to exist.

What are we gonna do if we find an even bigger prehistoric marsupial, like a man-eating kangaroo? We're gonna need an even more badass name, but we suppose scientist will cross that road when if they come to it.

Anyway, the DIPROTODON is about the size of a rhinoceros and was found on a remote cattle station in an area rich in the remains of prehistoric megafauna.

The discovery of a virtually complete fossil makes it one of Australia’s most significant prehistoric discoveries.

Handlers at an animal sanctuary in north-east Australia were mystified when their star attraction, Tonka the wombat, was brought low by a mystery illness.

Tonka shed 20 percent of his body weight after Cyclone Yasi devastated his home at the Billabong Sanctuary, near Townsville, Queensland, closing it to visitors for eight weeks.

The Sanctuary manager said that it was only after 'forking out serious cash' in vet checks and lab bills that they found out the problem.

The primadonna wombat was suffering from depression brought on by a lack of cuddles.

After the cyclone he missed the public - the patting, the photos, the cuddles and the endless posing for the paparazzi.'

Now, with a bit of TLC, Tonka is being nursed back to full strength in time for the popular tourist attraction to reopen this weekend.
