Well, it was fun for the few hours that itlasted.

Carey Mulligan went to her dark ways Thursday night at the IFP, Calvin Klein Collection & Euphoria Calvin Klein's Women In Film soiree in Cannes.

The Great Gatsby starlet was rather uninspiring in a strapless Calvin Klein LBD and black Brian Atwood sandals.

Just like Emma Watson, Carey kept the makeup to a minimum and pulled her hair back into a bun.

Sorry Carey, but this is doing absolutely nothing for us.

Can you PLEASE snap out of this Groundhog Day slump and give us something to ooh and ahh about? K, thanks.

Nicole Kidman continued to make her obligatory Cannes jury member appearances on Thursday night by showing up to the IFP, Calvin Klein Collection & Euphoria Calvin Klein's Women In Film celebration.

Choosing a laser-cut leather dress from Calvin Klein's A/W 2013 collection, Nicole was elegant and edgy all at once.

No prize for guessing her shoes — that's right, they were Jimmy Choos! Rhyme totally unintentional.

We did notice, though, that the 45-year-old's eyes were kind of red.

Nobody said wearing expensive clothes and going to a bunch of fab events on the French Riviera was easy!

The Face of the Future picked up her award at the Beverly Hilton Hotel looking effortlessly chic in a black MaxMara off the shoulder dress and Rupert Sanderson open toe booties.

A Bridget Bardot-inspired hairdo accented with a simple black headband completed her Chloë's look of perfection!

Well done, kiddo!

The actress picked up the MaxMara Face of the Future award looking chic in a black and white dress paired with Isabel Marant pumps.

Last night Elle Fanning attended the Crystal + Lucy Awards in Beverly Hills looking like her usual fashionable self.

Thanks to big sis Dakota's connection, the 13 year old donned an aqua Marc Jacobs Resort dress that's fresh off the runway.

Instead of going with the predictable nude or white heel, Elle chose salmon-colored Chanel slingbacks.

So fab!
