Back in 1981, male gymnast Paul Hunt decided to do something amazing.

He put on his prettiest pink unitard and did a routine on the uneven bars!

If you don't know, the uneven bars is a women's only event, like the balance beam.

It was in front of a huge crowd at the 1981 Nadia Tour at Madison Square Garden, NYC.

So funny!

That's awful!

U.S. women's soccer player Abby Wambach got punched right in the face!

When the U.S. was playing Columbia, Columbian player Lady Andrade apparently "sucker-punched" Wambach right in the face.

Wambach said the punch caught her in her right eye.

The U.S. asked FIFA to investigate and even though no formal complaint was made, Andrade was suspended for the next two games.

Hopefully Wambach feels better and her vision isn't affected!

We need that gold!

The UConn women’s basketball team is so good that President Obama called the coach during a press conference to congratulate them!

The team just topped the UCLA men’s 88-game wining streak with their most recent victory over Florida State.

When the coach was given the phone, he said:

"No, you're not interrupting anything. If I was calling you and you had all those reporters in front of you, you'd be dying to take my phone call, right?"

One word: Awesome!!
