Angelina Jolie Directing Sophomore Film Unbroken! Surprise! It's Not A Comedy!

Awww she's not directing herself and future hubby Brad Pitt in Mr. & Mrs. Smith: Part II?! LOLz!

Even though Angelina Jolie recently expressed that she may soon give up show business to focus on motherhood and her UN work concerning international humanitarian issues, it seems she's decided to postpone retirement…

In favor of bringing Laura Hillenbrand best-selling book Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption to the big screen!

Jolie will direct the true story of 1936 Olympian Louis Zamperini who survived a plane crash as a U.S. Army Air Forces bomber during World War II, only to then be captured by Japanese forces and imprisoned for the remainder of the war.

Angie recently expressed:

leo takes on another gay role in next movie

Okay, so we're not 100% sure if J. Edgar is being depicted as gay in Clint Eastwood's film, but it's becoming quite clear that Leo is very comfortable with gay subject matter.

Kat Von D Spends A "Romantic" Weekend With Jesse James In Texas!

What the hell does she see in this guy?! He repulses us and everyone else we know!

Reportedly, Kat Von D schlepped her ass over to Austin, TX on Friday night so that she could spend the weekend with her new lover, Jesse James. The pair tried their best to stay low key, but it's kind of hard not to spot two tattooed D-Bags roaming around Fredericksburg on a motorcycle.

Oh yeah, that's the best part! Their "romantic" weekend included a little trip to a small town outside of Austin, where the pair visited a, wait for it,…World War 2 museum!

How ironic!

Witnesses say they saw Jesse holding Kat's hand for most of the day, which is clearly the grandest gesture of love he can muster.

And now, while this is all going on, we have one question - who is watching your kids, Jesse?

Don't even tell us you dared stick them with Sandra!!!

Clooney Bomb Scare!

Whoa! Glad they found it!

Yesterday, a 500 lb World War II explosive was found only yards away from George Clooney's summer home in Italy!

Bomb disposal experts immediately came to the scene and the police sealed off the surrounding town to allow the team to defuse the device. The bomb, which was found underwater, was thought to have been dropped into the area by a plane and was found along with several mines and other raw explosives!

Yikes! You could have been in serious danger, George!

One wrong move in the wrong places and they would have been combing out pieces of your gray hair from your lawn!

Tom Hanks Talks Controversial New Projects

Tom Hanks is one of few actors to receive the honor of getting a Time Magazine cover, out this week, and in his interview talks about his upcoming projects, including the HBO World War II miniseries The Pacific and a TV project about the JFK Assassination, which he claims is one of "the most controversial things that has ever been on TV."

Wow!! We are definitely intrigued.

Here are some highlights from the interview:

On growing up around the military:
“Growing up I always knew Dad was in the Pacific somewhere fixing things. He had nothing nice to say about the Navy. He hated the Navy. He hated everybody in the Navy. He had no glory stories about it. My idea of history was just a course you had to take. Strange to think I’ve become the World War II guy. We all lived in naval housing and everybody who was like a primary care giver to me talked about The War. But when it came to understanding the history, I nodded off.”

On the correlations between WWII and today:
“From the outset we wanted to make people wonder how our troops can reenter society in the first place. How could they just pick up their lives and get on with the rest of us. Back in World War II we viewed the Japanese as ‘yellow slant-eyed dogs’ that believed in different Gods. They were out to kill us because our way of living was different. Does that soud familiar by any chance to what’s going on today? At least the Pacific War Soldiers coming back form WWII decompressed on ships for weeks. And then once the troops arrived portside it was often a long train ride home to Peoria. Today these guys in Afghanistan fight in bloody hell and then are flown back in 18 hours. How can they cope with that? How can they suddenly go from Tora Bora to Peyton Place?”

On his JFK Assassination Project:
“We’re going to do the American public a service. A lot of conspiracy types are going to be upset. If we do it right it’ll perhaps be one of the most controversial things that has ever been on TV.”

We think Tom Hanks is absolutely fantastic, and we're thrilled he's taking a stand and raising awareness about very relevant moments in US History that we could probably all learn from, instead of repeating the same mistakes over and over.

We're also curious to see what kind of controversy he raises around John F. Kennedy!!

What kind of dirt did he dig up?? We can't wait to find out!!
