Oh no! The world's oldest woman has died!
Besse Cooper, the oldest person in the world, has died in her Georgia nursing home.
She was 116!
Yes, that means she was born in the 1800s!! 1896 to be exact.
Besse died peacefully after becoming sick with a stomach virus. She was having trouble breathing, was put on an oxygen tank and then died in her room about 2 p.m. that day.
When Besse turned 116, Guinness World Records interviewed her, asking her what her secret to long life was, and she said:

So sad!
Pusuke, a 26-year-old male cross-breed was officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records about a year ago.
He died in his home with his owner just a few days ago.
He was born in March in 1985!!
So close to his 27th birthday.
That's well over 100 in dog years, so estimates would even put it around 185!!
He died only a few minutes after his owner returned home from a walk.
She said:
"I think [Pusuke] waited for me to come home."
Our thoughts and hearts go out to that woman and hope that the memories from her many years with Pusuke comfort her in this tough time.
