WARNING: DISTURBING CONTENT AHEAD

Shanghai was host to a gruesome celebrity injury Sunday!

Not too long after performing, B2K singer Raz B endured a fateful trip in his hotel room. And we're not talking about the magical mushroom kind…

Mid-trip, Raz instinctively tried to break his fall, but fell through a glass door instead. The shattered glass mauled his wrist — slicing through tendons and everything! OOOUCH!

Immediately, blood began gushing from his poor arm and the shock caused him to quickly pass out. (Scary!!) But fortunately, someone else was also in the room with him. 911 was quickly alerted, and Raz was rushed to Huashan Hospital Fudan University.

After a five hour surgery and decision to cancel the rest of his tour, the B2K performer seems to be doing all right.

Tuesday, he tweeted a semi-statement as well as the HORRIBLY GORY photo of his open wrist.

Saturday night, Selena Gomez made quite a stir on stage at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Not only did she bring the house down with her music, but she also debuted some ink on her right wrist. Visible for the whole place to see, Selena proudly showed off a named etched right under her palm in black ink.

The name … "Justin."

Giiiirrl! Are you serious? We mean, are you two THAT serious?! If Angelina Jolie has taught the world anything, its that you don't etch the name of your boyfriend on your body permanently, especially when you are so young! We don't care if he is Justin Bieber!

For many people, the secret to losing weight can be as simple as controlling their portions. Unfortunately, not too many people know how to control their portions, but hopefully this will help.

Much like a pedometer that measures how many steps a person takes, a team at Clemson University has developed The Bite Counter.

The device, which is worn on a users wrist, counts how many bites they take with up to 90% accuracy!

The American Dietetic Association seems to be on board for the invention that will help people monitor portions, as a spokeswoman said:

"This would be a good tool for someone who generally knows what is healthy and unhealthy but maybe has more of an issue with portion control."

The Bite Counter's co-inventor, Eric Muth, has determined that every bite has an average of 25 calories and believes people will quickly realize they may be taking a few too many bites, saying:

"The first thing is to make it obvious that they're eating more than they think. If they know that, the behavior change will come a little easier."

The device is expected to hit the market in a year and cost about $100. Hopefully by then, they'll develop a sleeker design than that big black brick tied to the girl's wrist in the picture above.
