This must have been such a difficult, internal struggle, but we're just relieved to see that he made the right decision and is getting the help he needs.

Unfortunately, Cory Monteith's shocking announcement last night that he had admitted himself to an unknown rehab facility to be treated for substance addiction will mean that the Glee star will be missing what's left to film of the smash FOX series' fourth season.

According to insiders, the musical dramedy has yet to kick off production of its final two episodes this year, but in light of this unfortunate development in Cory's personal life, his character Finn has been written out of the scripts, with his absence explained.

Girlfriend Lea Michele already spoke out in response of the news going public, but now a representative for 20th Century Fox says in a statement:

Lucky them! An exit strategy pretty much fell right into their laps!

Many have been wondering just exactly how Charlie Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, will be written off of Two and a Half Men and replaced by Ashton Kutcher next season, and sources close to the production have recently revealed that it's probably going to be quite a bit easier than some may have anticipated!

If you recall, in the last original episode that aired on February 14th, Charlie and his neighbor Rose were on the way to the airport to catch a flight to Paris, and apparently, that's how Chuck Lorre intends to write him off, even though it was never intended to be a cliffhanger!

Thankfully, we shouldn't expect anything nearly has severe as a plane crash to bring an end to the character; instead, expect Charlie Harper to be spending a little more time in France than the writers had originally anticipated!

Inneresting! Now we're just curious to hear how they intend to write Ashton in!

Now they'll NEVER let her out of her contract!

AnnaLynne McCord recently spoke out against finishing her third season on 90210, and despite enjoying the security of a job on the CW drama, she's revealed that she wants to leave the series behind to pursue a movie career!

She explains:

“Honestly, after about three years on a show, you’re like, ‘Thank you very much for giving me a step up. Now can I go do movies?’ We love our job and we love our fans especially, but you’re always ready for that moment when you can break free. Being on a show is awesome. You have guaranteed work, it’s wonderful and the money is great, but at the same time you miss out on projects. There have been several movies I couldn’t do, and I really loved the script and wanted to be a part of them, and it just didn’t happen because I was working on the show. There’s always the ying and yang of it."

There certainly is, gurl, but we'd say cool the comments!

Remember how well that worked out for Mischa Barton's career when she jumped the shark on The OC early?

Yeah, exactly!

Not to mention that after last night's finale, we're pretty sure you've QUITE the storyline for yourself next year!

Ugh! And just as it was starting to get good!

Although Teddy, played by Trevor Donovan, is slowly making his way out of the closet on 90210, it looks like he and new love interest Ian, played by Kyle Riabko, won't last, because a newbie has been cast to play the closeted teen's new man!

Freddie Smith will reportedly join the cast as Marco, who is described as "super-athletic and friendly."

As for Ian, sources close to the show reveal that his character is being written out upon Riabko's request so the actor will have a clear schedule for the upcoming pilot season!

So disappointing! We really liked them together!

We hope they write Ian off with the possibility that he can return! Teddy's way too fragile at this point to have his heart broken so quickly!

But who knows? Maybe the new guy will work!

And the truth comes out!

If you've been watching this season of 90210, you're probably wondering what happened to original castmember and shameless homewrecker Kelly Taylor, as she's been noticably absent from the cast lineup so far!

Well, actress - and as far as we know NOT a real life shameless homewrecker - Jennie Garth recently revealed that she left the series because she didn't like the direction it was taking!

She explains:

"I finished my stint there and the show is kind of off on its own, and I'm happy to walk away. It was fun, there's a lot of energy. My friend was producing the first season of the new show, and so that was kind of my motivation to be a part of it. And then he left and it just kind of got a little wonky, so I was happy to be a part of it in the beginning. Now it just seems like another show that we've already seen. Like Gossip Girl and so many shows that show that lifestyle. And when our show was on, there was no TMZ, there was no paparazzi, we had giant cellphones, there was no internet. It was such a different time. I can't believe there was no internet! I feel so old!"

Burn!

Can't say we're too torn up to see her gone, though! Frankly, the only reason we were excited to see her return in the first place for the reboot was because we were secretly hoping for a throwdown with our hero Brenda Walsh!

Alas, it never happened, our dreams were crushed, and now they're both gone forever.

This is pretty unfortunate.

ABC has announced that the groundbreaking gay romance between Kyle and Oliver - portrayed by actors Brett Claywell and Scott Evans - on the daytime soap One Life To Live is being written out of the show!

Frank Valentini, one of the soap's producers, said in a statement:

"We are concluding the story that we set out to tell with Kyle and Fish. We are very proud to have broken new ground with a same-sex couple on daytime."

Although the romance between the former frat brothers pulled in serious viewership and received major press from gay and lesbian publications, the network officials reportedly worried that they weren't working with the mainstream audience.

Of course. So effing typical.

Kyle and Oliver will apparently get custody of the infant Sierra Rose and start their family together off-screen. Their last episode is in April.

Good! The LEAST they should get is a happy ending!!
