Wait…sorry, we were thinking of the WWE…HA!
The World Wildlife Fund has partnered with Yanni to help giant panda conservation. The composer and singer has had a HUGE honor bestowed upon him as he has "adopted" a panda from Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
The partnership has set up a limited edition $50 panda adoption fund, where contributors can symbolically adopt pandas.
Yanni has guaranteed $50,000 from his end, which would equal 1,000 mini adoptions.

At the Bouba N'Djida reserve in Cameroon about half of the elephants were recently killed by poachers.
The World Wide Fund for Nature said they sent in too few security personnel to take out the poachers.
As many as 200 elephants were killed

This is a sad but true fact: There are more tigers living as pets in America than there are tigers living in the wild in the rest of the ENTIRE WORLD!
That is just plain wrong.
Estimates claim about 5,000 tigers are living in backyards, urban apartments (what??), sideshows, truck stops and private breeding facilities.
The World Wildlife Foundation has been trying to bring this matter to light for a while now.
Finally Congressman Howard “Buck” McKeon (R-CA) and Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) have stepped up and

Khloe Kardashian helped the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) raise thousands of dollar to help save endangered tigers all by simply tweeting:
"By texting TIGERS to 20222, your $10 donation will help WWF save the tiger in its vast range – from India to China, to the Russian Far East."
We're sure it helped that she has 5.6 million followers and that it's a great cause.
Apparently after the tweet, over 600 people texted and the WWF raised over $6,000… and that was just in two days!
The money is going to scientific research in the wild on how to better protect tigers, seeing as how there are less than 3,500 left alive in the wild.
That's why Khloe didn't stop after the tweet. She adopted a tiger online!
Then convinced her mama to do the same.
Way to go, Khloe!

The Alec Baldwin airplane saga continues!
To recap…..yesterday, we learned that Alec was kicked off of an American Airlines flight for playing Words with Friends on the plane after being asked to turn off his cell phone.
Then, in honor of Alec's WWF fiasco, tech company Zynga (who created Words with Friends), posted a clever message to Mr. Baldwin, which creatively says "Let Alec Play!" Ha!

We kind of assumed it was all just a joke, but it's good to know that these two are definitely cool with each other!
To recap, back in September, Jonah Hill went onto Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to speak about a supposed beef with Matthew Morrison (above).
In response, Matthew sent in a video to the show, making it clear that he was down to go mano y mano with Jonah!
Now, Jonah Hill has opened up about the "feud," and he's made it clear that it was all definitely a joke. Here's what he had to say about it during a recent interview:

India is making progress in saving endangered tigers!
A new nationwide survey shows a 20 percent increase in their numbers in the wild over the last five years.
The survey, released Monday by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, put India’s current tiger population at 1,706, compared with 1,411 in 2006.
India is home to about half of the world’s wild tigers. Their numbers had declined sharply for decades, largely because of poaching and the pressures of development encroaching on their natural habitat.
WWF director, Jim Leape said, “These numbers give us hope for the future of tigers in the world."
Let's hope the numbers keep going up!
