We’re SO ready for vampires vs. werewolverines!
Okay, obviously that’s not actually going to happen, but we’re very curious to see what The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade would do with Wolverine 2.
Aside from Slade, the other top candidate for the director’s chair on Wolverine 2 is Robert Schwentke, who directed The Time Traveler’s Wife.
Clearly, the ability to direct epic fight scenes between vampires and werewolves is more pertinent than the ability to
bore audiences visualize time travel.
Sources say the film’s story will revolve around Wolverine traveling to Japan. There is talk that the script may draw from a 1979 Wolverine story arc, wherein he falls in love with the daughter of a Yakuza crime boss.
A shunned and forbidden romance between lovers from two drastically different walks of life? Yeah, the Twilight guy should be able to handle that.
Who do U think should direct Wolverine 2?
