Baseball Fan At Red Sox Vs. Yankees Game Falls Over Railing & Onto Concrete!

We really hope everything turns out okay!

A fan at a Red Sox vs. Yankees game at Fenway Park in Boston on Wednesday is expected to be released from the hospital tonight after sustaining injuries from falling off of his lower box seat.

Apparently, during the 7th inning of the MLB game, a fan tried to catch a foul ball, but stretched too far over the railing and fell backwards onto the concrete below.

The man was taken away on a stretcher, but thankfully, both teams are saying that the baseball fan is expected to walk away with only minor injuries.

Unfortunately, on the other hand, accidents at sporting events seem to be on the rise, seeing as this fall comes just a week after a Braves fan fell to their death from the upper deck in Atlanta.

Stay safe, everyone!

Derek Jeter

Someone's got some explaining to do!

That's because Derek Jeter is being very secretive about an upcoming party of his this weekend.

The recently retired Yankees captain is set to have a major bash in the famous Oheka Castle in Long Island, and guests aren't sure what to make of it.

While he's already had a retirement party, after almost 20 years in the Major Leagues, we'd understand if someone wanted to throw a second shindig; one for each decade of play.

However, a lot of the invitees are convinced that this

Derek Jeter Played The Final Game Of His Two-Decade Career In A Rivalrous Matchup Against The Red Sox!

Derek Jeter

It's the end of an era.

That's because Derek Jeter has officially played his last Major League Baseball game.

The shortstop finished his 19th season with the Yankees in a fated match up against rival team the Red Sox.

Derek got his final hit, his 3,465th hit, we should say, during the third inning of yesterday morning's game. His four-digit hit tally makes him the sixth highest hitting player in the history of the game, so it's safe to say that baseball lost a great one yesterday.

Derek played his last home game in New York last Thursday, beating the Orioles 6-5.

The 40-year-old won't just be missed by his team, which he's been the captain of since 2003, but he'll also be remembered by the entire sports community; including Gatorade who gave him this incredible send-off after nearly two decades in the game.

The Yankees beat the Red Sox 9-5. Not a bad way to wrap things up.

Watch Yankees Catcher Francisco Cervelli Take A Foul Ball Right In His Own Foul Ball

It doesn't matter what you do today, you won't be having a worse day than Francisco Cervelli.

That's because the New York Yankees catcher took a foul ball to the left nut during a game against the Detroit Tigers last night.

After swinging at Shane Green's pitch, outfielder Rajai Davis just got a piece of the ball, and Francisco lost a piece of his.
