Glee Gets SERIOUS In Shooting Star! WATCH All The Performances From Last Night's Episode HERE!

We've NEVER been so anxious while watching an episode of Glee than we were during last night's harrowing depiction of a potential school shooting in Shooting Star

And because the subject matter WAS extremely serious, showrunner Ryan Murphy obviously had to handle it delicately so that it did NOT seem like he was trivializing a complex, sensitive subject, which is probably why he decided to include very few musical numbers.

The performances that DID make the cut were emotional, yet simply orchestrated, and they provided a much needed break from the consistent tension.

Ch-ch-check out the Gleeks singing Stay (above)!

Then, watch as Ryder attempts to seduce his online fantasy girl with Elton John's romantic classic Your Song and try to stem the tears while Brittany and the members of New Directions serenade Lord Tubbington with More Than Words …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Glee Is BACK With A Shooting Star! Hear All The Songs From This Week's Episode HERE!

Uh-oh!

While we are SO excited that the three-week hiatus from Glee will FINALLY be coming to an end when a new episode, titled Shooting Star, airs this Thursday, we have a feeling that the recently-reported "unthinkable event" that is said to go down at McKinley High could have some SERIOUS ramifications on our beloved New Directions!

Why else would there be ONLY THREE new songs this week?!

GAH! Now we're all nervous and slightly scared for everyone!

Thankfully, however, we appreciate quality over quantity, and while the tune-age may be SCARCE this week, what is there manages to pack a punch!

For example, ch-ch-eck out Blake Jenner doing Elton John some serious justice with this stunning rendition of Your Song (above)!

While you're at it, give a listen to Chord Overstreet and mama-to-be Heather Morris declaring their love for each other with Extreme's More Than Words, as well as everyone in New Directions teaming up for Say by John MayerAFTER THE JUMP!!!

Britney Spears Sings With Carly Rose Sonenclar For The X Factor Semifinals!

If tonight’s episode of X Factor turns out to be predictable, Carly Rose Sonenclar and Tate Stevens will take the final two spots in the competition!

However, with Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony’s performances last night, that could all very well change!

There’s no doubt about Carly Rose’s insane amount of talent and last night, even though her slow song choices weren’t anything out of the ordinary, she shined!

Check out the teen’s rendition of Elton John’s Your Song (above)!

So beautiful! She definitely gave the song a different sound, but in a good, refreshing way!

As for Carly Rose’s second performance, mentor Britney Spears chose John Lennon’s Imagine, but with a “fussy” arrangement.

Take a look at her playing the keys — oh, and listen to Brit Brit sing a few notes around 1:10… AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Sir Elton John Is The Queen’s Main Diamond!

Misty eyed, we present to you Sir. Elton John's electrifying performance from Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee Concert.

The Rocket Man launched his set with I'm Still Standing, then serenaded with Your Song, and finished off by leading 18,000 jubilant onlookers in a sing along to classic Crocodile Rock.

Let Elton inflate your soul (above)!

Unsprisingly, Sir. Elton was a highlight of the night's MANY stellar acts… he even got Prince William and Princess Catherine to shimmy their shoulders and SING!
