Not sure so about the plot, but it sounds like they've nailed down at least one shooting location.
Rumors are abound that the plot of Zach Snyder's Superman: Man of Steel will take a young Clark Kent to Africa where he is compelled to use his powers!
Sources say the synopsis for the film reads:
"A young reporter named Clark Kent roams the world covering various news stories. When he is compelled to use his secret powers to intervene in a crisis in West Africa, he returns to Smallville to learn more about his origins and the hero he was born to be."
The description is said to be pret-ty close to the Superman: Birthright comic book series, which explores Superman's origins.
There is also speculation that the production has found Superman's home, Smallville, near Chicago!
The production will reportedly film in Plano, Illinois, a suburb of the city, for two to three months beginning in August.
Accompanied by 10 weeks of prep time, the crew will film outside shots for another 10 weeks, then film interiors in Vancouver.
If these plot details are true, the movie is shaping up to look a lot more inneresting then the last one.
We'd love to see Superman doing some good in places that need it the most and take out some dictators!
Does the synopsis make you more or less excited for the return of Superman?
