This is a great idea!
Sometimes being unemployed is just as stressful, if not more, than actually having one!
A variety of yoga studios across the country are now offering FREE classes, so many people struggling to find work don't have to cut exercise out of their schedule!
Columbus yoga instructor Zack Lynn explains:
"We didn't want them to have to choose, 'Should I eat today or go take this class?' We wanted to give them the ability to do both."
New York instructor Jo Sgammato reiterates:
"It helps to quiet the mind and helps people realize that this is a temporary situation. If somebody comes all the way here and tells us they want to take that free class because they're unemployed, we're going to believe them."
What an amazing way to give back! And we're sure it's very much appreciated by those who definitely need that time during the day to re-focus and de-stress!
