The actress/singer was spotted training on top of a very handsome horsey alongside her instructor earlier this weekend in Sylmar, CA!

A great cause (and a good reason to get out)!

Bones, star (and sister of Zooey) Emily Deschanel is the new spokesperson for Farm Sanctuary's Walk for Farm Animals Walk for Farm Animals.

The charity walk will be held in more than 35 North American cities this Fall to raise funds to support the organization’s life-saving work AND promote kindness towards animals.

Deschanel says:

“Farm animals are just as interesting and intelligent as the dogs and cats who we know a bit better. Yet they are treated by the meat industry as though they are inanimate objects with no feelings or personalities.”

Zooey Deschanel AND a puppy?!? That'd be a cuteness overload!

The always adorbz actress visited Craig Ferguson on The Late Late Show to discussing (among other things) desperate desire for a dog.

Craig tries to pawn off his Jack Russell Terrier named Mary Anne. According to the Scottish host, the Jack Russell isn't horrible, just Irish.

The duo finally decided that Zooey should adopt a dog from another country.
