It’s considered a sport in China. And although gambling is still illegal in the country, the cricket fights are legal and still occur.
The fights match two male crickets according to size and weight. And each cricket has its own trainer with a special diet and all.
Crickets also represent good luck in China, and finding a large group of crickets is said to bring wealth to your family.
