Famous British TV Giraffe Struck Dead By Lightning!

Hamley the giraffe, one of the stars of the British kids show Wild at Heart was struck by lightening on monday.

This sad incident occurred while the crew was filming scenes at the Glen Afric reserve in South Africa. Hamley had already filmed his scenes for the upcoming season before he was struck by a bolt of lightning and died.

Producer, Nick Goding explained that everyone involved in the show is heartbroken. He said, "Hamley was a gentle, playful and charming animal. He will be greatly missed by everybody."

Aww, We will miss you Hamley!

Miranda Lambert Sends Pet Rescue Units To Moore, Oklahoma!

Miranda Lambert is a real mensch!

The Oklahoma native has done everything she can to help the victims of the tornado that mainly ripped through Moore, Oklahoma. Now her help is extending to the furry victims, too!

The singer has dispatched veterinarians associated with the MuttNation Foundation, which Lambert started in 2009, to the town of Moore where they will set up shop to help injured dogs and cats in the area.

The temporary shelters were set up on Wednesday, and Lambert is very happy to do her part.
