This is so sad!
Police are looking for a hit and run driver who struck and killed a 53-year-old homeless woman on Sunday night in Concord, California.
Sheree Lindborg rushed to the aid her dog who was hit by a car only to get hit by a car herself!
The worst isn’t over.
The driver, a 17-year-old teenager stopped to check on the woman who was lying on the ground, but then ANOTHER car hit her.
Both the woman and her dog died, but authorities are on the lookout for the second driver who briefly stopped to talk to the teen, but then took off before police arrived.
The driver is described as a white male in his 20's with brown hair and blond tips, while a female passenger had long, dark hair. The pair were driving in a dark four-door sedan that may have been a hatchback.
A homeless advocate who knew Lindborg described her as:
"Quite weather-worn. She was worn, she was worn out. She's lived a hard life."
Such a tragic end to a tragic life.
While there are actually three drivers at fault here, we hope this particular hit-and-run driver can be found and brought to justice because what he did is just plain wrong.
