Thousands Of Star Fish Wash Up On South Carolina Beach

Uh-oh…
Thousands of dead star fish washed up on the shores at Pawleys Island in South Carolina on Tuesday, but fortunately, they're still alive!
Phew!
A spokesman from the State Department of Natural Resources Marine Division said rough water in stormy seas on Monday night most likely dislodged the starfish from their usual rocky resting place.
Most of the washed up starfish are still alive and the spokesman said there is no need to toss them back into the water because Mother Nature will take care of them.
Thanks, mom!
