Panda Vs. Peacock

Yikes.

Who are we kidding, this wasn't much of a fight. More like a tragic game of hide and seek.

In a surveillance video, a blue peacock was seen flying into the pen of a five-year-old male giant panda just before the zoo opened.

After chasing the bird around its pen, the panda eventually grabbed hold of the peacock and killed its prey.

Chen Jun, zoo keeper, said: "In spite of the general impression of being docile, panda is after all an animal. As an omnivorous animal though, giant panda sometimes eats meat."

Guess today was one of those days.
