One of the benefits of having a tiny dog: you can take them to live tapping of a network TV show!
Colbie Caillat takes every chance she has to spend time with her most recent rescue pup, a 3-month-old puppy named Maté.The singer, song writer and Humane Society spokesperson even brought her little Maté to set when for her guest performance on America's Got Talent.
Though the puppy didn't get to go on the AGT stage when the cameras were rolling, Maté is no stranger to the limelight. Colbie often shows off her rescue pup during her concerts to promote adoption.
Last year Colbie told PEOPLE:
"You don't have to go straight to a pet store. It doesn't hurt to go to a shelter first and see if you find love with one of their dogs – just like I did."
