On the set of the new show, The Playboy Club, when it comes to food, there’s always dairy-free, meatless options.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum, who plays the free-spirited Janie, has been Vegan for about a year. She said:
"I feel like a different person. There's a big difference in my energy level, my skin cleared up, I could not believe the change.”
Leah Renee, who plays a married, closeted lesbian bunny, a vegetarian turned vegan, talks about the sexuality of the show, saying:
“These women were working there because it was their choice. A lot of times people think using sexuality is a bad thing and I don't think it is.”
Naturi Naughton, who plays “chocolate bunny,” another “green” cast memeber talks about being eco-friendly:
"I've always recycled and I'm thinking about getting an eco-friendly car, maybe a Prius. The more I grow I learn we have to take care of our environment, so things like that are starting to become more relevant and important."
Amber Heard, who plays a newly hired bunny (who accidentally kills a mob boss her first night! Yikes!), washes her clothes and dishes by hand, saying:
"I do my part to reduce my footprint as much as possible.”
Sounds like these “bunnies” know how to keep it green and animal friendly.
Way to go, gurls!
