Lea Michele Devastated Over NYC Carriage Horse Death

As we previously mentioned, a carriage horse dropped dead in the streets of Manhattan the other day.

Lea Michele had just recently shot a PSA for PETA detailing the struggle of carriage horses in New York.

It seems that she is now justified in her claims that it is cruel to force overworked horses to breath car exhaust all day and pull around heavy carriages.

She wrote on her twitter:

"Just woke up to the saddest news about one of the carriage horses dying the midtown Nyc. This has to stop! Please."

Maybe this will finally bring about some change in the carriage horse industry. It's just sad it came to this.
