A woman who described herself as suffering from a mental illness climbed into the elephant exhibit at the el lay zoo.
She scaled an obstacle course of several fences and barriers to get into the elephants' pen.
Neither the intruder or the elephants were injured.
A spokesman said that zoo doesn't plan to up security, mainly because the woman had to be an acrobat and really intent on getting inside that pen.
Most normal people understand the unwritten code of conduct at zoos, such as don't feed the animals, don't slam on the glass, and don't climb into the animal's enclosures.
It's a good thing the elephants were peaceful or else there could have been a serious trampling incident.
We're just glad everyone is okay.
