Groupon Got In Trouble For Selling Snake Oil

This is really funny.
Groupon, that awesome coupon website, got themselves in trouble for promoting a U.K. deal for Wrinkle Killer Snake Serum.
"[…] helps tackle the signs of aging, [and] leaves the skin looking younger."
The term 'snake oil' is used to describe a product that promises some big benefits but in reality does nothing.
What's funny is this is actual snake oil. And it does nothing.
Apparently it's just a moisturizer and the Advertising Standards Authority thought saying it "killed wrinkles" was false advertising as the effects weren't long lasting.
Ever since the snake oil incident, Groupon said they have:
"[…] further improved our checks and processes."
Let's hope so, for the consumers' snake sake.
LOLz!
