World Bank has launched a new partnership to try and raise an astounding $1.5 BILLION for the world's oceans.
They aim to double marine protected areas and rebuild fish stocks.
The world's oceans are overfished, heavily polluted and increasingly warming.
None of these are good for the earth, climate change or any of earth's inhabitants. (That means people too).
"The world's oceans are in danger, and the enormity of the challenge is bigger than one country or organization. We need co-ordinated global action to restore our oceans to health."
This alliance brings together several nations and organizations who are already working for the ocean, to try and collaborate to make some real change.
The global coalition now only needs major economies and world powers like many of the European Union countries and North America.
Come on world powers!
Save those oceans or you won't have a world to be powerful in for much longer.
