Baby Pygmy Hippo Makes Public Appearance

At Scotland's Edinburgh Zoo, a baby pygmy hippo was born a few months ago.
And now finally, the little baby is openly wandering the enclosure!
Baby Eve has been pumping out the cuteness since her first swimming lesson with mom, Ellen, only a few days after her birth.
Even though hippos are naturally strong swimmers, they need to be taught how to swim.
A zoo keeper there said:
'Pygmy hippos are endangered in the wild and numbers are declining, so it’s fantastic that Edinburgh Zoo has such a natural mom like Ellen. She’s got great maternal instincts.'
Hi baby Eve! We see you, little cutie!
