Pet owners just took another blow when it comes to traveling with their dogs.
United Airlines has adopted Continental's PetSafe program, which bans certain breeds of dogs.
The ban includes dogs that are considered dangerous and older than six months or heavier than 20 pounds.
So which breeds are deemed unacceptable?? The list goes as follows:
Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers Presa Canario, Perro de Presa Canario,
Dogo Argentino, Cane Corso, Fila Brasileiro, Tosa (or Tosa Ken) and Ca de Bou.
United Airlines defends the change, stating that the program is a better product than their current policy. PetSafe offers a 24 hour assistance desk for pets.
Pet owners disagree with the policy, stating that it is discriminatory.
Thoughts? Do U think banning certain dogs is fair?
