Miley Cyrus Steps Up To Rescue A Dog With Special Needs!

We really have to hand it to her!

Once again, she is stepping up to give a furry friend in need of love just that - and even possibly a home!

Miley Cyrus took to Twitter earlier in the week to let her readers know about this poor puppy rescued from an animal shelter, where he was abandoned with chemical burns and broken bones, which is dire need of a place to live - and even suggested that she'll take him if no one else does!

The message on the Facebook page for Saving SPOT! Animal Rescue reads:

We are starting a fundraiser for Keller, a very sweet 3-month-old long hair Chihuahua that we rescued from North Central Shelter. Keller was dumped there with chemical burns on his eyes and skin, as well as 3 fractures on his pelvis and hips. He has some vision out of one eye and really none from the second. We want to take him to a specialist to try to restore as much vision as possible and get him surgery on his fractures so he can walk again. Ugh. So sickening to think that a person could be so violent and cruel to a defenseless animal - and as young as he is!

Poor thing!

Here's hoping Miley - or someone with a good heart - can provide that little guy with all the love and affection in the world!
