This horse was spooked to say the least.
William, a white Arabian horse, was at a Santa Barbara County photo shoot when something went wrong.
The horse freaked and bolted from the set, and the crew called 911.
The Carpenteria Fire Department, along with state lifeguards and a SBC search and rescue helicopter spotted the horse going for a swim.
TWO MILES OFFSHORE!
Rescuers caught up with the stallion and placed floaties under his neck so his head would stay above water.
The entire process two two and a half hours to get William back on dry land.
That definitely makes a day at work more interesting!
