Riley the dog is a bit of an adrenaline junkie.
How do we know this?
Because he followed his owner into an airplane... and then followed his owner out of that airplane before it landed!!
Red wolves have had a tough journey…
Formally declared extinct in the 1970s, researchers captured the remaining 17 wolves for a new pilot breeding program.
Amazingly, 14 of the captured wolves bred offspring, and today, red wolves are roaming wild and free through North Carolina!
Originally, red wolves stretched from New England to Florida so there is a loooong reintroduction process ahead.
Spearheading the movement is Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, which just welcomed eight more pups.
