If you think your bird can only snack on seed and pellets, be prepared for a knowledge bomb!
Birds like a variety of foods, esepecially fruits and veggies. Don't be afraid to splice some of these healthy choices into their diet.
lettuce, green beans, parsley, corn, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower
apple chunks, banana, melon, mango, oranges and other citrus fruits, grapes, pineapple and berries.
But it doesn't end there!
Some birds can even eat people foods like low fat yogurt, cereal (low sugar) and shredded chicken or turkey.
Wait…shredded chicken and turkey? Is that cannibalism or birdalism or something?
But before introducing these foods to your bird, make sure to wash them thoroughly, especially if they have pesticides.
Also, avoid apple seeds, avocado, caffeine, rhubarb, chocolate, alcohol, mushrooms, onions and excess salt at all costs.
Who knew birds love all different kinds of food?!
