Pamela Anderson has had ENOUGH of tobacco animal testing.
The actress took to Twitter to show her support for PETA's new initiative against the Food and Drug Administration.
The FDA wants to pass a recommendation that will allow tobacco companies to test their products on animals.
PETA believes that this is not only misleading, as animals do not develop human diseases, but primitive as Canada is currently using more modern tests and tobacco animal testing is banned in the UK, Belgium, and Germany.
PETA writes the following about the horrid procedures:
In some of the horrendous tobacco tests that could be conducted, rats would be forced to breathe tobacco smoke for as long as six hours a day for months at a time by jamming the animals into tiny canisters and pumping concentrated cigarette smoke directly into their noses. The animals would then be killed and their bodies dissected.
Join Pam and PETA's cause. Stop tobacco animal testing!
