PETA brought the funny…and for a great cause!
Jane Lynch and Bill Maher headlined PETA's Stand Up for Animals benefit at the Comedy Store Wednesday, where celebs gathered to raise money for efforts to stop animal abuse.
Before PETA was around, you know, you could f-ck with animals any way, anybody, anytime, anywhere, and now you can't.
That's a pretty big change in the world. That's a big achievement. … Animals will not be ignored. They're the Glenn Close of species.
Diners also had the chance to choose from a "veganized" menu of the Comedy Store's normal eatz and all the proceeds went towards PETA's initiative.
A good laugh and a good message, you can't beat that!
