A couple months ago, we stressed the importance of keeping your pet under control in the car.
Now, Cesar Millan has some tips to really hammer the point across!
If unrestrained, dogs can be cute and deadly missile that can cause harm to everything and everyone around them.
For example, a lap dog sitting on top the driver weighs 10 pounds. In 50 mph accident, this turns into over 800 pounds of force!
But just because your pooch is in the passenger or backseat, this does NOT protect them from harm.
Larger dogs can generate over a ton (2000lbs) of force at just at 30mph.
Seat belts should used when transporting your pets. They provide safety and restraint to your doggie as well as protect you and your loved inside your ride.
